Now that you have twined your rug to the middle and tied it off on the back it is time to remove it from the loom.
In this next video i show you how to add a new color at the end of the row and how to do the last few rows.
No loom just a simple wooden frame to stretch the warp material a simple project made to whatever size rug you want.
The first one is pretty hard to get out.
As in completely finished.

But along with that i taught a twined rag rug class for over ten years at a local folk school and thought that it might be fun to teach an online class for free over the winter for anyone interested.
I review in more detail the twining process.
When you are finished you pull out the metal rods on the sides and then slide the rug off the pegs.
And how to add fringe.
Once it is out the other one slides out much easier.
Doing the last stitch and taking it off the frame.
And it is done.
