Remove existing wires from the white and grey terminals on the back of the operator.
How to fix liftmaster garage door sensors.
The sensors that make garage doors safer must be located in the worst possible place close to the floor.
Remove the wires from the wire nuts or cut the sensor wires 12 from the sensors.
Reattach the cut wires to the new sensors.
If done correctly you ll have disconnected your safety sensors from your garage door.
If you see a blinking light on one of the sensors it means they aren t aligned.
Try opening the garage door with the remote and see what happens.
Now you can tighten the screw and plug in the opener.
Use a pair of wire cutters to cut the white and black wire about an inch from the sensor.
Connect the ends to the terminals on the sensor thread the wires through the fasteners strip the ends and connect the wires to the terminals.
Twist together the two white with black stripe wires from both sensors.

Proceed with both sensors to the garage door opener motor unit.

Strip 1 2 inch of insulation off the end of the replacement wires.
