How to get patio screen door back on track.
When you have it out lay the screen material back over the frame and then put the spline back in over the top of the screen.
If you look at the bottom track you should a couple of half moon shaped cutouts.
Then use your screwdriver to unscrew the head stop located at the top of the door frame.
If the screening material itself is not damaged you can reuse it.
Removed a few screws but can t remove the door to replace the screen.
Slip a flathead screwdriver under the wheels and push them upwards as you lift the door out of the track and out of the frame.
Hold the bottom of the door closer to your feet and the top of the door closer to the exterior wall.
Turn each screw counterclockwise to raise the wheels and lower the door so that you can lift the door up and out of the track.
Do the same at the other corner and then remove the door by pulling it down and out of the upper track.
Once the door is free set it aside in a safe place.
Make sure the lock mechanism on the screen door is oriented to the inside of the house and faces.
First locate the adjustment screws along the bottom of the outside face of the door frame shown or on the door s inside edge.
Then cut your track 1 16 shorter so it fits right in the space.
After you lower the door lower the wheels by turning each screw clockwise to secure the door in the frame.
