Being a professional for most of my adult life i learned early on to do this with a brush.
How to paint between ceiling and walls.
Run a wet finger or ice cube along caulk to smooth.
Place painters tape on the wall about 1 8 down from the ceiling.
Move down the corners between the walls then finish up with the area near the floor.
Align the edge of the index card tightly against the wall.
A good brush will cut a nice sharp line much more easily than a cheap one.
Turn the brush parallel to the ceiling to go over the first stroke firmly and steadily keeping the bristles close to but not touching the ceiling.
For ceilings lay down a big w pattern about 3 feet wide.
Continue to work your way across the ceiling or along the wall in this fashion.
Run a line of caulk along the opening in between the two strips of tape.
Place a second piece on the ceiling about 1 8 out from the wall.
Instead try some of.
Then slowly drag the tape along the length of the ceiling in a straight line flattening it as you go.
Put enough paint in t.
Paint around the edges of the wall with an angled brush.
Pour some paint into another small bowl then apply the paint through the same cutting in process you used for the primer.
Hold one card half horizontally to the ceiling.
All the ends of the bristles touch the surface.
Press down on it firmly until it lies flat against the ceiling.
Tap the brush on the side of the bucket or wire grid to remove excess paint.
My preference would be a medium cut 2 1 2 angle cut brush.
Then smooth out your work by rolling lightly a 3 foot square area on the ceiling or from ceiling to floor on walls with a dry roller.
To do this start by places a strip of tape in the corner of the ceiling right where the ceiling meets the wall.
Step 6 paint the blank inch of space with the dark paint and the flat artist s paintbrush.
Dip your brush about 1 inch into the paint.
I like to have the brush on it s edge when cutting in i e.
Place your brush on the ceiling so that it s about 1 4 to 1 2 inch away from the ceiling wall transition.
Start with the space between the ceiling and the walls first.
