For stubborn film steam clean the crock with water vinegar and baking soda.

Run the weights under hot water and simultaneously scrub off any surface mold with a mild brush like a new toothbrush.
To remove stubborn crock pot stains especially if the inner ceramic pot is white after you have rubbed it with baking soda and rinsed it try wiping the surface with a damp cloth soaked in hydrogen peroxide or lemon juice.
Then up the temp 25 degrees every 40 minutes to 500 degrees.
If necessary you can let it sit for 6 to 12 hours.
If you ve got really tough stains let the mixture cook a little longer.
It ll loosen the bits on the side of the bowl enough to be rinsed out.
Leave for an hour or so.
A dark ceramic crock pot tends to show mineral deposits or white residue more easily than a white ceramic insert.
To remove this film or residue wipe the inside of the crock pot with water and white vinegar.
Then start backing down the temp in reverse try not to peek keep the door closed and let the oven cool to nearly room temp.
